Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic

Etymologies of Qishan names
Here is a list of my speculations of the origins of Qishan related names! There's no really confirmation for these, some are pretty obvious but other are more like guesses.

» Fatima — Arabic woman's name, most commonly known as the name of Muhammad's daughter.
» Jamil — Arabic for "beautiful".
» Layla — Arabic for "night".
» Morgiana — Named after a character (مرجانة) from the tale Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. She is the clever slave girl in Cassim's household before joining Cassim's brother Ali Baba after Cassim's death. She saved Ali Baba many times with her quick wits, and is eventually freed and marries Ali Baba's son. The name means a small pearl, although Ohtaka said it means coral.
» Qishan — Qishan (岐山) is the name of many towns in China, as well as the name of the Qishan County. It was the site of the first capital of the Zhou Dynasty.
